The women of Zones 21, 22, 23 and 24 are excited with anticipation of all the Women in Mission coming to San Diego. We look forward to bringing you a joyful and wonderful convention experience!
Our theme this biennium is ‘SHINE’! This simple yet powerful word explains everything that we as Lutheran Women in Mission and fellow sisters in Christ do through this amazing organization.
Our Bible verse this year is from Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works, and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Our Mission Statement is: “We give all our Glory to God our heavenly Father and through His Son Shine the light of His grace, mercy and love for all the whole world to see!”
Our Convention Goals are:

 To glorify the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in all that we do.
 To be in fellowship with each of our sisters in Christ and
 To SHINE the light of God to the world!

Your Host Convention Committee has been hard at work, meeting, planning and preparing for this convention. Some of the exciting things we’ve been preparing for are:

 Saturday afternoon Mission Walk!
 Saturday Night Banquet
 Worship Services
 Ingathering and servant event opportunities
 Young Women and Teen special events

Just to name a few!
Encourage your Young Women and Teens to attend and to be a part of the sisterhood that we all share through LWML.
So please continue to pray for each of us as we move into “high gear” with getting this convention planned and ready for your arrival. Register now and be a part of this incredible experience and get ready to SHINE!

The Lord’s Blessing to each of you!

Welcome to San Diego California and the 2014 Pacific Southwest District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Convention!
President's Convention Blessings
As we come together for the 35th District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, I praise and thank the Lord for everything He has done through each of us working together to celebrate and SHINE!  We want at all who are attending to feel welcomed as part of our LWML family.  Thank you, everyone for all of your prayers and efforts to make this a convention that is in every way a gift of love and worship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As you choose new officers and new mission grants keep all of them in your prayers and give them honor and support, just as you have done for those who are going out of office at this convention.  We are alive, SHINING and working in partnership with the Church. May each of us do our part in ensuring that this work of sharing the Good News of salvation continue until we are all together with our Lord in heaven.
